Favorite and Least Favorite Part

My favorite part of the class would simply have to be because it is online. You can go about and do your work whenever you have time too. I like that there is no set class time it just allows for more flexibility with your time during the day. Having a full week to get your work done is a relief especially if you have piles and piles of work to do from other courses. Taking quizzes and tests online is less of a hassle as well because you can complete it whenever. I believe the blogs really helped with communication among classmates and helped us to express ourselves in our own way. My least favorite thing about this class would probably be the length requirements on the blogs. I feel like for some of the posts I could easily get my point across in way less than one hundred and fifty words. I have no other problem with this class at all.

  1. Hey there Petey! Good job with your post this week! My favorite part of this class is the fact that it is online as well. Since it is an online class I felt as if this class was pretty chill. I like how I am able to do my assignments on my own time and there is no rush to do it. I especially like the flexibility of when we can take our quizzes that week. I recall how helpful that was because there was a week when I had so many midterms to take that it was nice that I can take the communication quiz later in that week when I feel ready to do so. I believe that word limit was kind of hard to reach at times and in order for me to reach it, I sounded boring and repetitive. GOOD JOB OVERALL THIS SEMESTER!!!

  2. Hey Petey!
I have to 100 percent agree with you that the easiest part of the class was that it is online. I have to be honest, I was very skeptical taking this class because it was online and I had heard horror stories about online classes from others but I was pleasantly surprised! Like you, I was able to get the discussions done whemever I had the time, and same with the essays. It was nice that I didn't have to drive anywhere either! After this experience, I will for sure take more online classes in the future! Thanks for your great posts this semester as well

  3. I agree. The fact that it was online was the best part of this class. Some people say having an online class is much harder because you don't have a set time to attend class and you have to do everything on your own. But if you simply keep up with all the assignment dates, stay in communication with the professor if needed, and have effective time management to where you know you can find time to do everything online, then you will do just fine. Having an online class not only gives flexibility to a person's schedule, but it teaches you how to stay on top of things without someone there to remind you that something is due like a professor would in class. You also learn how to learn in an independent manner, which could get you far in life as well.

  4. Petey!
That is why we took an online class in the first place right? We wanted something convenient, as in being able to complete assignments at our own pace (as long as it is within the week). Posting blogs and making comments on other classmate's blogs was a really different approach to the class and it really did help us out with our communication skills (online anyway). I can also relate to being able to express ourselves in less than 150 words and it was kind of a hassle to always having to put in filler to meet the requirement. Other than that, it was definitely a blast to read all your blogs and I enjoyed the class as well!

  5. Totally agree with you that the best part about this class is that it's online and you can do it when you want it and on your terms. I also agree that the length requirement for the posts could be improved but that's not as bad as having the comments be 100 words or over because I feel like a lot of people tend to drag things out so that they meet the requirement even if they couldn't have gotten the point across in less words. Other than that I enjoyed this class as well and I actually learned a lot.
